The Journal of Marine Sciences and Technology for Sustainable Development (JMSTSD) is a journal focused on advancing sustainable ocean and coastal development. It provides a platform for high-quality research that integrates science, engineering, technology, and policy to support a resilient and sustainable blue economy in three sections as below:

JMSTSD welcomes original researches covering key areas of ocean sustainability and encourages interdisciplinary work that bridges scientific discovery with practical solutions for sustainable ocean-based development worldwide.

Note:
- The journal entitled Journal of Marine Sciences and Technology Sustainable Development(JMSTSD) and its scope were formally approved by the Commission on Journals of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology(MSRT) by letter No. 241141 dated November 28, 2025.
- There is no fee to publish in JMSTSD, as the Article Processing Charge (APC) is fully covered by CMU.
- For the latest articles published online ahead of their issue assignment, please visit the journal’s Articles in Press section.
- Until further notice, an honorarium of IRR 100 million will be awarded to corresponding authors based in Iran whose manuscripts are accepted for publication. This program will remain in effect until the end of Volume 1, Issue 2 (24 articles). The honorarium may be extended to subsequent issues, subject to the decision of the Editorial Office and the continued financial support of CMU.
- Each issue of the journal comprises 12 articles. To ensure diversity, each author is limited to one article per issue.
- Please note that JMSTSD currently accepts only Original Research Articles for peer review. Review Articles are temporarily excluded from the review process and may be reconsidered in future issues.
- High-quality manuscripts with significant innovation and strict adherence to journal templates are preferred for acceptance.
