Journal of Marine Sciences and Technology for Sustainable Development

The Journal of Marine Sciences and Technology for Sustainable Development (JMSTSD) is a journal focused on advancing sustainable ocean and coastal development. It provides a platform for high-quality research that integrates science, engineering, technology, and policy to support a resilient and sustainable blue economy in three sections as below:
It is noted that the scope of JMSTSD is organized into three hierarchical levels: Sections (A–C), Subject Areas (A-1, A-2, …), and Research Topics (A-1-1, A-1-2, …). The alphanumeric codes preceding each title indicate its corresponding level within the scope structure.

JMSTSD welcomes original research, reviews, and case studies covering key areas of ocean sustainability and encourages interdisciplinary work that bridges scientific discovery with practical solutions for sustainable ocean-based development worldwide.

• The journal entitled Journal of Marine Sciences and Technology Sustainable Development(JMSTSD) and its scope were formally approved by the Commission on Journals of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology(MSRT) by letter No. 241141 dated November 28, 2025.
• There is no fee to publish in JMSTSD, as the Article Processing Charge (APC) is fully covered by CMU.
